Parters I have successfully run projects with for Asian Dispatch.
A year long Indo-German exchange fellowship designed to engage 12 fellows (6 Indian and 6 German) to understand how we can rewire trust in media.
My work as the project manager is to ideate and execute this year-long experience for the fellows, manage internal and external stakeholders and anything in between. From pitching this idea to winning and implementing it, it's been a full circle.
Implementing this project utilised my knowledge of the media landscape, the concerns with it as well as a solutions centric approach on how we can work together to address them. The end result? A knowledge sharing handbook that brings together the learnings of the fellows through a structure of co-working I designed and implemented for the first six months of the fellowship.

Earth Journalism Network
Wrote the winning proposal for the 2024 biodiversity media grants for EJN to implement a two part project. The first part was to develop and conduct an Asia wide training for journalists on biodiversity and climate change reporting and the second was to report on a cross-border story on illegal shahtoosh trading globally.
“The collaboration with Earth Journalism Network supported Asian Dispatch in realizing its mission to promote meaningful partnerships to promote Asian storytelling. Doing this through the combination of a story and capacity-building series was especially fruitful as we got to unearth the depths of illegal shahtoosh trading and at the same time infect other journalists with enthusiasm on how to better work on climate change and biodiversity stories in Asia. The one-of-its-kind story that we produced under the project, along with the robust training sessions, stand testament to our efforts and I am certain [they] will become building blocks for the community to further uncover biodiversity stories”
-Preeksha Malhotra, Project Manager for 2024 project with Asian Dispatch
I planned timelines and work scope to ensure smooth implementation of both the training and the reporting. As the point person for the project I was also responsible for project reporting (narrative and financial) to EJN.
